The Theme
My objective for this class topic will be education. The reasons why i picked this as my theme is because Ive have dealt with alot of it. I have gone through all kind of testing because of ieps. For my Personal essay i am looking to write about my difficulties and the one favorite teacher that was there to help me through everything. How she talked me into being the motivate person i am today about school. My Observational essay will be to go into a elementary class room and watch the teacher to see what she goes through as a teacher and ask her questions about what else she has to do outside of the job. While I'm there i can observe the children to see how they reacted to different things the teacher plans to do in the classroom. For the argument essay I'm going to talk about how college is a very high amount of money for young kids just trying to further there education, and why most kids dont continue because its so expensive. i would like to put my own thoughts in all these essays and some research as well.
Education sounds like a good choice of theme. The only question I have is whether you know someone who's a teacher so you can get inside a school--sometimes it's harder these days with CORI checks and that sort of thing. There are other options we can brainstorm if an elementary school seems hard to arrange.
ReplyDeleteI have a school right down the street from me, my little sister goes to. i have done comunity service for so, im sure they will let me come and do some more!
