Writer's Autobiography

As i was growing up i always had a difficult time writing. I would never focus on what i was actually writing about.English was never my strongest subject in school. As soon as i took Eng 90 with a great professor who had helped me so much. Made me feel better about what I'm writing, and has got me out of the phase were i didn't like anyone but the teacher view my work. One of the pieces of writing i did was my Junior research paper in highschool. The reason why its my most memriable one is because it was one of the biggest papers i had to write. It was a big challage for me because thinking for my topic i wanted to research.I got a great grade and passed my junior year. The process i like to take when i start writing is to map out what i plan on writing. Then i put then together and make a roughdraft.I proff read a couple times then make my final draft. The things i like to use to write with is lined paper and a black ballpoint pen.Having a class were we use the computer and paper i think is great. The only thing is i like to wirte my rough drafts out instead of typeing them it makes it easyier for me. I use writeing in many diffrent ways like chating on facebook, emails, texting, and also writing letters so family.Having the texting and emails makes it easy to get in touch with my job, friends, and also my professors at school. This semster i plan on trying to work on not getting stumped on my essays,so easy.My weakness i think would be getting stumped on toipics and thats what makes my essays go not to good. With everything that i have said im going  to try my best to succed in this class.

  1. I'm glad your Eng. 090 teacher helped make writing a little easier for you. choosing a topic is always one of the key things in writing. If you have any problems, please come see me or the tutors in the Writing Center can be a great help by asking questions that can get you thinking.

I'm glad to hear you're flexible about paper and screen for writing. You may find the lab makes it a little easier to compose on a keyboard, but there's no need to give up paper if you find that easier. Even in class you may want to start by scratching out some notes or sentences--that's fine!
